Gaboon Viper

The Gaboon Viper is one of the largest and heaviest venomous vipers and is renowned for its incredible camouflage. Native to the rainforests and woodlands of Central and West Africa, it spends much of its time lying motionless among fallen leaves, where its intricate brown, tan, cream, and black markings make it almost invisible.
