Ringed Python

Bothrochilus boa
$1,100.00
The Ringed Python is a beautiful, medium-sized python native to the tropical forests of New Guinea and nearby islands. It is named for the pale cream or yellow rings and bands that contrast with its dark brown to black body, giving it a striking appearance. Its scales have a glossy, iridescent sheen that can shimmer with hints of blue and purple in sunlight.

This species typically grows to 1.5–2.5 meters (5–8 feet) in length. It is a powerful but slender snake that spends time both on the ground and climbing through low trees and shrubs. In the wild, it inhabits humid rainforests, woodland edges, and areas close to water.
